主讲人简介：李瑾博士1982年本科毕业于广州外国语学院德文专业，1988年获得匹兹堡大学教育学硕士学位，1997年获得哈佛教育学院人类发展及心理学博士学位，现任教于布朗大学教育系。李教授专门研究不同文化中儿童的学习信念、教学认知、自我意识情绪、和自我概念以及有关的社教化过程。她还担任美国芝麻街制作所的教育顾问，协助出品中国版《芝麻街》和其它儿童电视节目。李教授现已出版3本专著，并在各类刊物发表关于儿童心理和教育的学术论文40多篇。李瑾教授正在主持一项华裔儿童学习能力研究，招募有五岁以下孩童的华人家庭参与调研。

About the speaker: Dr. Jin Li is associate professor of education and human development at Brown University. Originally from China, she received her B.A. in German from Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages in 1982. After immigrating to the U. S., she earned her Master’s degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988 and her doctoral degree in human development and psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education in 1997. Dr. Li studies children’s beliefs about learning, teaching cognition, self-conscious emotions, and self-concepts and related socialization across cultures. Dr. Li is has been an educational consultant for Sesame Workshop and helped produce Zhima Jie and other U.S. and Chinese children’s TV programs. Dr. Li is author of 3 books and over 30 articles on child development and education.
